Chamfol: Three people were killed in a tourist plane crash on Friday in the town of Chamfol, located in the Eure-et-Loire region of north-central France. The tragic incident occurred in a residential area, approximately 81 km from Paris, as reported by the French channel BFM TV.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the plane involved in the crash was identified as a Cessna 172. French Prosecutor Fr©d©ric Chevalier confirmed that the victims included two men and a woman. The pilot, a 77-year-old former army general known for his experience, was providing a tour to two friends at the time of the accident.

Fr©d©ric Chevalier stated that the aircraft crashed a few minutes after takeoff. While no damage was reported to nearby houses, a single car sustained damage. Investigations are currently underway to determine the cause of the crash, as the reasons for the incident remain unclear.
