Ankara: Turkish Intelligence Chief Ibrahim Kalin discussed the humanitarian tragedy in Gaza with Head of Hamas Leadership Council Mohammed Ismail Darwish and his accompanying delegation.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, during their meeting today in Ankara, the two sides discussed Turkey’s efforts with the international community to end the humanitarian tragedy and destruction in Gaza and ensure the immediate passage of aid into the Strip.

They also discussed the issue of reconciliation among Palestinian factions during this critical period.

The two sides comprehensively discussed the steps that can be taken to achieve a permanent ceasefire in Gaza.

During the meeting, Kalin stressed that Turkey stands with the Palestinian people.
