Baghdad: The Coordination Framework held its regular meeting today, Sunday, to discuss the latest political and security developments and the elections file, while offering condolences on the anniversary of the martyrdom of the Prophet’s (PBUH) grandson, Imam Hussein bin Ali (PBUH).
According to National Iraqi News Agency, a statement by the framework indicated that the Coordination Framework’s 232nd regular meeting took place at the office of the leader of the State of Law Coalition, Nouri al-Maliki. The meeting was attended by Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani and focused on discussions surrounding the latest political and security developments in the country, as well as the ongoing elections file.
The framework also extended condolences to the Iraqi people and the Islamic world on the anniversary of the martyrdom of Imam Hussein bin Ali (PBUH), highlighting the significance of this event in the context of ongoing national and religious observances.
