Baghdad: The Council of Ministers has allocated the land within the Baghdad Airport security fence to the Ministry of Transport. This decision marks a significant step in the management and utilization of the area surrounding the airport.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Council of Ministers has also mandated that lands surrounding Baghdad Airport be subjected to prior approval before any investment licenses are granted. This move aims to regulate the development around the airport and ensure that any future projects meet specific criteria and align with broader strategic goals.
