Mosul: The Mosul Municipality Directorate, in collaboration with the implementing company, has embarked on a transformative riverfront development and rehabilitation project on the city’s right side. This ambitious plan stretches from the Fifth Bridge to the Old Bridge.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Director of Mosul Municipality, Engineer Abdul Sattar Al-Habu, announced that the project involves the construction of 273 residential homes designed in a heritage style that mirrors the old city’s identity. The development also includes public gardens, open parks, a marina for riverboats, and comprehensive infrastructure works such as sewage, water, electricity, and lighting networks.

Al-Habu further explained that the construction of the new corniche along the Tigris River is advancing rapidly, with a focus on maintaining the area’s architectural beauty. This project aims to rejuvenate the city’s right side, which has suffered years of neglect and destruction, providing a new urban space for Mosul’s families.
