Ankara: The Russian Ministry of Defense announced today, Wednesday, that its air defense systems shot down five Ukrainian drones over three regions overnight.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Ministry stated: “Overnight, the air defenses on duty destroyed five Ukrainian drones.”

The statement further detailed that “two drones were destroyed over each of the Kursk and Rostov regions, and one drone over the territory of the Republic of Crimea.” This incident highlights ongoing tensions and the active measures taken by Russian defense systems in response to aerial threats in the region.
