Baqubah: A young woman in her twenties died during a cosmetic surgery at a hospital in Diyala Governorate. A medical source told a correspondent for the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA) that a young woman in her twenties from Al-Abara district died during a nose job at a private hospital in Baqubah, the capital of Diyala Governorate.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the body was referred to the forensic medicine department for an autopsy to determine the cause of death. The competent authorities have opened an investigation into the incident.
