Baghdad: The dollar exchange rate rose in the markets of Baghdad and Erbil governorates on Saturday, with the stock exchanges closing at the beginning of the week.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the dollar exchange rate witnessed an increase with the closing of Al-Kifah and Al-Harithiya stock exchanges, recording 141,450 dinars for $100, while earlier in the morning, it was recorded at 141,200 dinars for $100.
The selling price saw a rise in stock exchanges in the local markets in Baghdad, where it reached 142,500 dinars for $100, while the buying price stood at 140,500 dinars for $100.
In Erbil, the upward trend continued, with the selling price reaching 141,150 dinars for $100, and the buying price at 141,000 dinars for $100.
