Al-Araji Highlights Government’s Support for Tribal Social Mission


Baghdad: National Security Advisor Qasim al-Araji met with Sheikh Abdul Ghaffar al-Kashkul Alwan al-Dulaimi, the leader of the Dulaim tribes in Baghdad and Wasit Governorates. The meeting emphasized the critical role of Iraqi tribes in fostering civil peace and social cohesion, while firmly rejecting extremist rhetoric.



According to National Iraqi News Agency, the discussions underscored the importance of the community awareness efforts by Iraqi tribes through their social engagement with the populace. Al-Araji emphasized that tribal sheikhs and dignitaries are pivotal in representing society, highlighting the Iraqi government’s support for the tribes’ social mission in aiding the state and reinforcing the rule of law.
