Vienna: Deputy Prime Minister for Energy Affairs and Minister of Oil, Hayan Abdul-Ghani Al-Sawad, who is leading the Iraqi delegation at the 9th International Conference of the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) in Vienna, held a meeting with Indian Oil Minister Hardeep Singh Puri.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Ministry of Oil released a statement indicating that the discussions between the two ministers focused on joint cooperation in the fields of oil, gas, and energy. The meeting aimed to enhance the collaborative efforts between Iraq and India in these critical sectors.

The meeting was attended by a number of key officials, including the Undersecretary of the Ministry for Gas Affairs, Izzat Sabir Ismail, the Director General of Basra Oil Company, Bassem Abdul Karim, the Director General of the Oil Marketing Company, Ali Nizar, along with several other members of the Iraqi delegation.
