Basra: Basra Police arrested three suspects, including two women, for stealing an amount of money near a medical complex in Basra.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Basra Police Command Media stated in a statement: “While carrying out preventive deployment duties to curb the phenomenon of thefts, detachments from the Imam Ali Police Station were able to arrest three suspects, including two women, red-handed while attempting to steal one million dinars from a female citizen during her visit to a medical complex.”

He added: “Legal measures were taken against the two suspects and they were referred to the competent authorities.”
