Baghdad: The Ministry of Transport has denied reports about the closure of Iraqi airspace, confirming that air traffic is operating normally.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the ministry released a statement today asserting, “There is no truth to the news circulating about the suspension of flights between Iraq and Turkey,” and emphasized that all Iraqi airports and airspace remain open to all airlines without exception.

It is worth noting that some media outlets and social media platforms had circulated reports in recent hours about a suspension of air traffic between Iraq and Turkey.
