Diyala: Security forces arrested a number of suspects at Al-Mundhiriyah and Mandali border crossings in Diyala Governorate after seizing suspected narcotics in their possession. Brigadier General Haitham Al-Shammari, Director of Media for the Diyala Police, confirmed the arrests and the seizure of the materials.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the necessary legal measures have been taken against the suspects. The seized materials have been handed over to the competent authorities for technical examination following proper procedures.
