Anbar: The Anbar Operations Command of the Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) has denied reports claiming that its commander, Qassem Musleh, and his aide were targets of an assassination attempt.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, a statement from the PMF affirmed that the allegations circulated by certain media outlets and social media pages about the supposed assassination attempt on Commander Qassem Musleh and his aide are fabricated and completely false.

The statement further clarified that Musleh continues to perform his duties both on the ground and administratively without any interruptions or harm. It emphasized that there is no truth to the reports suggesting any threat to Musleh or his aides.

The Anbar Operations Command urged media outlets and social media pages to maintain accuracy in their reporting, to avoid spreading unreliable news, and to rely on official sources for information.
