Qualitative Operation in Salah al-Din Leads to Arrest of Forgery Gang


Salah al-din: Salah al-Din Command forces have successfully dismantled a dangerous gang involved in the forgery of vehicle registration plates. This achievement was the result of a qualitative operation characterized by diligent work and exceptional effort.



According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Command revealed that its forces apprehended three suspects who were part of this gang. The arrests were made possible through joint security efforts involving the Police Command, the National Intelligence Service, and the Directorate of Technology and Information in Salah al-Din, which is a part of the Federal Intelligence and Investigation Agency. A specialized task force was formed to track and apprehend the main suspect in the Kirkuk Governorate, in coordination with the local security forces.



The operation also led to the discovery of a workshop used for forging vehicle registration plates. This workshop contained various logistical materials, devices, and computers essential for the forgery operations. Legal procedures have been initiated against the accused to complete the necessary investigation paperwork.
