Baqubah: A joint team arrested a woman impersonating a dermatologist in Baqubah, the capital of Diyala Governorate. Director of Media for the Diyala Health Department, Faris Al-Azzawi, announced the arrest and closure of an unlicensed beauty center run by the woman.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the woman had been operating the center for months without proper licensing. The operation was conducted by a joint team from the Diyala Health Department and the National Security Directorate. Legal measures have been initiated against the individual, and the case has been referred to the competent authorities for further investigation.

Faris Al-Azzawi highlighted the important role citizen cooperation played in the successful identification and closure of unlicensed pharmacies and centers in recent months. This collaborative effort underscores the community’s commitment to ensuring public health and safety.
