Baghdad: Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani launched the implementation of the Qayyarah Combined Cycle Power Plant Expansion Project this morning. The project will add 375 megawatts of production capacity, increasing the total production capacity to 1,125 megawatts.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, this expansion is a significant step towards meeting the growing energy demands in the region. The Qayyarah power plant is expected to play a crucial role in stabilizing the electricity supply and supporting economic growth.
