Baghdad: A huge fire broke out in the Al-Koot hypermarket, the largest in the center of Wasit Governorate, just days after its opening. Civil Defense vehicles rushed to the scene, working to extinguish the blaze and prevent it from spreading to neighboring buildings.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the fire posed a significant threat as it trapped several families at the top of the building. Emergency responders successfully rescued those trapped, ensuring their safety amidst the chaos. The cause of the fire remains under investigation as authorities assess the damage and seek to prevent future incidents.
