Baghdad: Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani has directed the Minister of Interior to be present at the site of the recent fire incident in the city of Kut. The directive is aimed at immediately investigating the causes and circumstances surrounding the incident, conducting a thorough technical investigation to uncover any shortcomings, and taking all necessary measures to prevent such incidents from occurring in the future.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Prime Minister also ordered the dispatch of a fully equipped medical team to support efforts in rescuing and treating those injured in the fire. This swift response is part of a broader effort to ensure that victims receive the necessary medical attention without delay.

The Prime Minister extended his condolences to the families of the victims, expressing his emotional solidarity with them during this difficult time. He also sought divine guidance to provide the bereaved families with patience and solace in the aftermath of the tragedy.
