Kut: The Ministry of Interior on Thursday denied reports alleging the involvement of a group of 30 Syrians in the tragic fire incident that occurred in the city of Kut.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the ministry issued an official statement asserting that the information circulated in some media outlets and on social media platforms is completely unfounded and not based on any official investigation.

The statement clarified that only six Syrians were actually present at the scene, and all of them had entered Iraq legally and in accordance with official procedures.
