Baqubah: Two people from the same family were injured in a family dispute in Al-Wajihiyah district of Diyala Governorate.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, a police source reported that the altercation involved the use of knives and galabiyas, which were typically used for cutting down trees on the outskirts of Al-Wajihiyah, northeast of Baqubah.

The police source further detailed that a police force was dispatched to the scene to intervene and resolve the conflict. It was also confirmed that the injured individuals were taken to Al-Muqdadiyah Hospital to receive medical treatment.
