Mosul: Five Civil Defense personnel were injured while trying to extinguish a fire in an oil tanker, west of Mosul at dawn today.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, a Nineveh Police source reported that a fire broke out in an oil tanker in the Eski Mosul area. The tank exploded while Civil Defense teams were attempting to control the blaze.

The source added that the explosion resulted in the injury of five Civil Defense personnel and caused damage to a fire-fighting vehicle.
