Baghdad: The State of Law Coalition announced that their leader, Nouri al-Maliki, is in stable health following a series of routine medical examinations at Ibn Al-Bitar Hospital in Baghdad.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, Abbas Al-Moussawi, the advisor to the head of the coalition, communicated via a post on the “X” platform that Al-Maliki has been discharged from the hospital after completing the necessary check-ups. Al-Moussawi reassured the public of Al-Maliki’s well-being, stating that he has returned to his duties and has been hosting several political figures and leaders.
Al-Moussawi further noted that President Abdul Latif Rashid and Chief Justice Faiq Zaidan were among those who visited Al-Maliki after his hospital discharge. Additionally, several ministers and members of parliament were also in attendance, underscoring Al-Maliki’s significant role within the political landscape.
