Baghdad: The Iraqi Journalists Syndicate today praised the vital role of the Iraqi judiciary and the President of the Supreme Judicial Council, Judge Dr. Faiq Zaidan, in safeguarding Iraq’s national unity and political entitlements. The syndicate emphasized that this role significantly contributes to strengthening the country’s sovereignty, independence, and ensuring the security, safety, and stability of its people.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, in an official statement, the syndicate noted that Judge Faiq Zaidan received the head of the Iraqi Journalists Syndicate, Moayad Al-Lami, and commended the Iraqi media and press community for adopting a responsible national discourse. He highlighted their efforts in promoting national unity, upholding justice, reinforcing social cohesion, and protecting Iraq’s democratic, political, and economic achievements.

For his part, Syndicate President Moayad Al-Lami conveyed the press community’s appreciation for the Iraqi judiciary, describing it as the “safety valve” for maintaining national unity, delivering justice, and supporting societal peace.
