Baghdad: Parliament Speaker Mahmoud al-Mashhadani held a meeting with the head of the Iraqi Media Network, Karim Hammadi, to discuss the preparations for covering the upcoming parliamentary elections.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, Al-Mashhadani received a detailed explanation of the network’s operations, including its media components, administrative structure, and the legal legislation necessary for its development. He highlighted the crucial role of the Iraqi Media Network in broadcasting a clear and balanced image of Iraq and its citizens to the world. He commended the efforts of the network’s head and employees, encouraging them to maintain their professionalism.
The discussions also focused on the necessary preparations to ensure the coverage of the parliamentary elections meets the significance of the event. The aim is to provide equitable exposure to all candidates and political entities involved.
