Baghdad: The Baghdad Operations Command announced today the discovery of an apartment and a caf© being used for illegal gambling, leading to the arrest of 13 violators found inside the two locations.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, units from the First Federal Police Division and Baghdad Rusafa Police Command, in coordination with the Tourism Security Detachments, conducted inspection and search operations targeting hotels, halls, and restaurants. These efforts culminated in the raid of an apartment and a coffee shop in the Karrada and Saadoun areas on the Rusafa side, where gambling devices, related tools, and alcoholic beverages were seized.

The statement added that the detainees and confiscated materials have been handed over to the competent authorities to complete the legal procedures against them.
