Baghdad: Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani visited the Ministry of Electricity this morning to inaugurate four ultra-high voltage transmission lines (400 kV), with a length of 412 km, to enhance the capabilities of the energy transmission network between the governorates of the middle and southern Euphrates.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, these transmission lines are a significant development in the country’s infrastructure, aiming to improve the efficiency and reliability of electricity supply in the region. The project is expected to bolster the energy distribution system, ensuring a stable and consistent power supply to meet growing demands.

The inauguration of these transmission lines marks a crucial step in addressing the energy challenges faced by the governorates. This initiative is part of a broader strategy to upgrade the national grid and support economic growth by providing a robust energy framework.
