Baghdad: Russian authorities declared a state of emergency in the Krasnodar Territory, overlooking the Black Sea, following heavy rains that led to floods and mudslides. River levels rose, flooding 34 homes and 45 facilities in the villages of Divanovka, Moldavanskoye, and Novomikhaylovsky in the Tuapse region. The torrent swept away an old bridge in the village of Lermontovo.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, emergency teams rescued 25 people from a bus that had fallen off a bridge and evacuated 40 tourists, while a mudslide caused a temporary disruption to traffic. A total of 236 personnel and 55 vehicles participated in the rescue operations, with water distribution continuing to the population.
