Gaza: The death toll from the ongoing Zionist aggression on the Gaza Strip, which began on October 7, 2023, has risen to 61,258 martyrs and 152,045 wounded.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza reported in a statement on Thursday that hospitals in the Gaza Strip received the bodies of 100 martyrs (two of whom were recovered) and 603 wounded over the past 24 hours. Many victims remain under the rubble as ambulance and civil defense crews struggle to reach them due to inadequate equipment.
The Ministry further detailed that the number of Palestinian martyrs among those awaiting aid who arrived at hospitals over the past 24 hours reached 51, alongside more than 230 wounded. This brings the total number of victims among those seeking aid who arrived at hospitals to 1,706 martyrs and more than 12,030 wounded. The death toll since March 18, when the Zionist entity violated the ceasefire agreement, has risen to 9,752 martyrs and 40,004 wounded.
The Zionist entity resumed its devastating war on Gaza after violating the ceasefire agreement on March 18th, following a two-month hiatus. The renewed aggression has targeted various areas of the Strip, which is currently facing an unprecedented famine and humanitarian crisis, unparalleled globally for decades.
