Basra: The Governor of Basra, Asaad Al-Eidani, and the Chairman of the Border Ports Authority, Omar Al-Waili, convened a meeting at the Shalamcheh border crossing. The meeting was aimed at overseeing the procedures involved in dispatching pilgrims to the holy city of Karbala for the Arbaeen pilgrimage of Imam Hussein.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the meeting included several relevant authorities who gathered to ensure the smooth and efficient passage of pilgrims.
