According to National Iraqi News Agency, Al-Mandlawi remarked in a statement on Friday that the martyrdom of Imam Hussein in Karbala represents an eternal symbol of truth confronting falsehood, emphasizing the perpetual struggle against injustice and tyranny. He praised the extraordinary efforts of the security services in ensuring the safe movement of millions of pilgrims in Karbala and acknowledged their professionalism in safeguarding the pilgrimage ceremonies.
Al-Mandlawi also expressed gratitude towards service ministries, governmental bodies, and local authorities for their critical role in providing logistical support, such as transportation, healthcare, and infrastructure, which were instrumental in the successful commemoration of this solemn occasion.
