The Popular Mobilization Commission Announces Success of Arbaeen Pilgrimage Plan

Baghdad: The Popular Mobilization Commission announced the success of the security and service plan for the Arbaeen pilgrimage of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him). Major General Ali Al-Hamdani, Commander of the Central Euphrates Operations in the Popular Mobilization Forces, reported that approximately 20 million pilgrims arrived from both inside Iraq and abroad.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Al-Hamdani highlighted the effective coordination between security forces, the Popular Mobilization Forces, holy shrines, and volunteers. This collaboration ensured the entry and exit of pilgrims were secured, their movements were organized smoothly, and transportation and services were efficiently managed. The efforts helped handle the massive crowds without notable issues.

Al-Hamdani noted that the success of the pilgrimage plan was due to the dedication and sacrifices of the security forces and the Popular Mobilization Forces, along with the contributions of volunteers. He expressed hope for continued goodness, safety, and peace for the Iraqi people.
