Baghdad: The Ministry of Oil announced today, Monday, the adoption of electronic automation at the Gas Filling and Services Company. Undersecretary of the Ministry of Oil for Gas Affairs, Izzat Sabir Ismail, stated that the implementation of electronic systems will replace traditional paperwork, highlighting the efforts of the company’s management in utilizing modern technology for financial and regulatory tasks.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Ismail emphasized that this initiative aligns with the government’s program and directives from Prime Minister Mohammed Shia’a al-Sudani and Deputy Prime Minister for Energy Affairs and Minister of Oil Hayan Abdul Ghani. He noted that automation is essential for enhancing efficiency, reducing costs, and improving regulatory performance by providing immediate and accurate data for various operations.

Ismail further explained that production companies will gain from automation by better managing financial and administrative transactions, as well as technical and production reports. This strategic move is expected to ensure quality and transparency within the company.

Anmar Ali Hussein, General Manager of the Gas Filling and Services Company, underscored the importance of automation, stating that it will increase efficiency, accuracy, and reduce human errors. He conveyed the company’s commitment to swiftly implementing these electronic systems to accelerate work processes and minimize task completion times.

Hussein noted that automation is viewed as a crucial element for the future of the company’s operations, ensuring its continuity and ability to tackle future challenges effectively and with confidence.
