Baghdad: Minister of Transport, Razzak Muheebis Al-Saadawi, participated today in the extraordinary session of the General Assembly of the Arab Academy for Science, Technology, and Maritime Transport. The session took place via video conference and included the participation of Arab transport ministers or their representatives to the academy.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, during his speech, the minister affirmed Iraq's support for the Arab joint work initiative and its commitment to enhancing the achievements of the academy. The Arab Academy for Science, Technology, and Maritime Transport is recognized as a leading scientific and academic institution at both the Arab and international levels.
The academy's president expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the minister and the Iraqi government, acknowledging the significant progress in Iraq's transport sector, particularly in specialized projects and academic cooperation. He highlighted that repeated visits to Iraq have helped deepen cooperation ties and achieve tangible results.
