Moscow: The Russian Defense Ministry has announced the successful downing of 102 Ukrainian drones over the southwestern provinces of the country last night.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the ongoing conflict has seen Kyiv forces persistently targeting southwestern Russia with drones and missiles on a near-daily basis. Meanwhile, the Russian military continues its operations across various fronts to counter these attacks.

In response to the continued aggression, President Vladimir Putin has emphasized the importance of expanding the military operation. He highlighted the necessity to push Kyiv forces farther from Russian territory, ensuring they remain out of reach of the Western missiles and weapons currently being employed to target Russia.
