Hillah: A source in the Hillah Central Women’s Prison announced today, Sunday, the death of an inmate from Basra Governorate. She died at the prison’s health center.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the same source stated, “The woman was sentenced to ten years in prison in a case related to integrity and died while at the health center after suffering from health symptoms.”

He added that the police transferred the body to the forensic medicine department to determine the cause of death.
