Mosul: Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani inaugurated the Great Immaculate Conception Church for Syriac Catholics in Mosul, which was reconstructed after being destroyed by ISIS terrorist gangs.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the church’s reconstruction marks a significant step in the efforts to restore Mosul’s cultural and religious heritage. The church, which holds historical importance for the Syriac Catholic community, stood as a symbol of resilience and hope during the challenging times faced by the city.

The initiative to rebuild the church was part of a broader campaign to revive Mosul’s landmarks that suffered extensive damage during the conflict with ISIS.
