Washington: The US Treasury Department announced today, Tuesday, the issuance of new sanctions related to Iran.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Treasury Department stated: “We will degrade the Iranian regime’s ability to launch attacks against us and our allies by targeting Iranian oil revenues.” The statement emphasized the continued efforts to obstruct Tehran’s ongoing attempts to circumvent US sanctions.
