Prime Minister Commits to Constitutional Solutions for Kurdistan’s Financial Entitlements


Baghdad: Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani affirmed the government’s commitment to finding constitutional and legal solutions to ensure the fulfillment of Kurdistan Region’s financial entitlements, stressing that political disputes must not affect the lives of citizens.



According to National Iraqi News Agency, a statement from Al-Sudani’s media office revealed that he met with the head of the Kurdistan Justice Group, Ali Bapir, on Tuesday. The meeting focused on the relations between the federal government and the Kurdistan Regional Government, specifically agreements on financial entitlements and their impact on citizens. They also reviewed regional and international developments.



Al-Sudani emphasized the government’s determination to address pending issues with a sense of national responsibility. He reiterated the commitment to alleviating the burden on citizens in the Kurdistan Region and other provinces.



Bapir expressed gratitude to the Prime Minister, praising his efforts to safeguard the rights of the people of the Kurdistan Region and his keenness to promote stability and development across Iraq.
