Baghdad: President of the Republic, Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid, issued Republican Decree No. (43) today, appointing a first batch of 86 ambassadors to finalize their appointment procedures.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Presidency stated that the procedures for appointing a second batch of ambassadors are currently under review with the relevant oversight authorities. A decree to appoint them will be issued once their appointment procedures are completed.
