Houthi Drone Attack Hits Israeli Ramon Airport

Negev: The Israeli Broadcasting Authority announced on Sunday that a drone launched from Yemen struck the passenger hall at Ramon Airport in the Negev, prompting the suspension of takeoffs and landings.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, footage circulated showing the drone exploding inside the airport, while Israeli authorities deployed security forces and firefighting teams. The Airports Authority confirmed that the runways are being inspected.

Channel 13 reported that three drones were launched from Yemen across Sinai toward Israel, with the Air Force intercepting one while tracking the other two.

Reports indicated that the drone activity coincided with a session of the Israeli government held at a secret, fortified location in the southern Negev, amid concerns of potential attacks and assassination attempts.
