Maysan: The Maysan Police Command arrested two suspects who stole an electrical transformer in Al-Salam subdistrict, affiliated with Al-Maymouna district.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, a statement from the Maysan Police stated, "A team from Al-Maymouna Anti-Crime Division received a report about the theft of the contents of an electrical transformer in the area. The team spent 30 days gathering and analyzing information, which led to the identification and arrest of the perpetrators."

The Maysan Police clarified that "the two suspects were wanted under Article 444 of the Penal Code for stealing an electrical transformer from in front of the Al-Salam subdistrict municipality building on August 11, 2025. The necessary legal measures have been taken against them."
