Rome: Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan called for more effective international resolutions to address Israeli actions and expansionist policies. Speaking at a joint press conference with Italian Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani, Fidan emphasized the need for the international community, the European Union, and the United Nations to exert greater efforts to curb Israel's criminal activities.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Fidan highlighted the ongoing crisis in Gaza, describing it as a genocide resulting from systematic starvation. He pointed out that Israeli expansion and threats persist without adequate deterrence, which emboldens Israel's activities. Fidan criticized the insufficient pressure from the global community, stating it has not reached a level of deterrence necessary to halt Israel's actions.

Fidan remarked on the shifting international perception of Israel, suggesting that the longstanding illusion created by Israel is diminishing as its true intentions become more apparent. He noted an awakening within the international community, albeit delayed, as awareness grows regarding Israel's violations of fundamental human values.

He further commented on the inconsistency between Israeli actions and Western values, warning of potential severe consequences from this conflict. Fidan also addressed the recent Israeli attack on Doha, urging those who overlook Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's policies to recognize the threat. He emphasized Qatar's commitment to peaceful foreign policy and successful mediation efforts.
