Tel aviv: Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, confirmed on Tuesday that the army had launched a large-scale ground operation in Gaza City, describing it as a “decisive phase” during his testimony before the Tel Aviv District Court.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Israeli army spokesman Avichay Adraee announced through an Arabic message that the army has commenced the destruction of Hamas’s infrastructure. Adraee cautioned Gaza residents, stating that the city has become a “dangerous combat zone” and urged them to evacuate southward.

In response to these developments, the Palestinian Foreign Ministry has called for exceptional and urgent international intervention to protect civilians in Gaza. The call underscores the escalating tension and humanitarian concerns amid the ongoing military operations.
