Muqdadiyah: A doctor was assaulted inside his clinic in Muqdadiyah, Diyala. Dr. Huthaifa Muhammad was attacked by unknown assailants who stormed his clinic, leaving him with fractures and wounds. He was immediately transferred to Muqdadiyah Hospital for treatment.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, a masked group entered Dr. Huthaifa’s clinic and severely beat him, causing significant injuries. The incident has raised concerns among the medical community regarding the safety of healthcare professionals in the area.

Murtada al-Khazraji, the head of the Doctors Syndicate in Diyala, expressed his concerns in a Facebook post, emphasizing the dangers faced by doctors. He questioned the responsibility for protecting doctors and enforcing the law, describing the situation in Diyala as a “jungle.”
