Baghdad: Security forces launched a joint operation today south of Bani Saad in Diyala Province to enhance stability and secure surrounding agricultural areas.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, a joint force, supported by intelligence units, carried out a search and clearance operation targeting three agricultural zones based on specific intelligence objectives within the southern Baqubah sector.
The source added that the operation aims to secure areas located near the Diyala-Baghdad tourist highway, which holds strategic importance as it surrounds several agricultural villages.
