Baghdad: Deputy Prime Minister for Energy Affairs and Minister of Oil Hayan Abdul-Ghani Al-Sawad received the French Ambassador to Baghdad, Patrick Durel, to deliberate on strengthening bilateral relations and developing cooperation in the fields of oil, gas, and energy.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the meeting focused on exploring avenues to enhance collaboration between Iraq and France in the energy sector. Both parties expressed a mutual interest in advancing partnerships and fostering stronger ties in oil and gas industries to benefit both nations.
