Moscow: Russian Ministry of Defense announced on Monday that its air defense systems shot down 251 Ukrainian drones overnight over several regions of the country.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the ministry stated that “40 Ukrainian drones were destroyed over the territory of the Republic of Crimea, 34 over Kursk Oblast, 30 over Belgorod Oblast, 20 over Nizhny Novgorod Oblast, 17 over Voronezh Oblast, and 11 over Krasnodar Territory.”

The ministry also reported that “eight drones were also shot down over each of the Bryansk and Tula Oblasts, four over Ryazan Oblasts, two over each of Vladimir, Ivanovo, Kaluga, Tambov, and Oryol Oblasts, and one over each of Lipetsk Oblast and Moscow Oblast. Sixty-two drones were destroyed over the Black Sea and five over the Sea of Azov.”
