Popular Mobilization Forces Dispose of ISIS Projectiles South of Kirkuk


Kirkuk: Forces of the 16th Brigade, within the Northern and East Tigris Operations Command of the Popular Mobilization Forces, found war remnants belonging to the terrorist ISIS gangs in the village of Yargun, south of Kirkuk Governorate.



According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Popular Mobilization Forces stated in a statement: “The operation was based on accurate intelligence information, and the brigade’s explosives teams began disposing of the projectiles safely and securely, which contributed to eliminating their danger and protecting the residents of the area.”



It added: “These efforts come within the framework of the Popular Mobilization Forces’ ongoing security operations to clear the areas of the terrorist organization’s remnants and enhance stability in Kirkuk Governorate and the surrounding areas.”
