Baghdad: Deputy Prime Minister for Energy Affairs and Minister of Oil, Hayan Abdul-Ghani Al-Sawad, engaged in discussions with a joint delegation from the Russian company LUKOIL and the Japanese company INPEX. The meeting focused on matters concerning the oil, gas, and energy sectors.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the joint delegation comprised Ivan Romanovsky, Vice President of LUKOIL for Middle East Affairs; Elnur Kurbanov, General Manager of LUKOIL Overseas, operator of the Eridu field; Ghassan Sidnafi, Deputy Director of the Iraqi branch of LUKOIL; Munehiro Hosono, Senior Vice President of INPEX; and Shinya Taoshi, Vice President of INPEX for Middle East Affairs.
